Rubber Stamp Tapestry

I've been working on sympathy cards to re-stock my mother's and my card box. I'd prefer to be prepared with one rather than try to create a sympathy card when a death occurs. I'll be showing more pictures of them later. I wanted to show this card as it features stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. This line of stamps is unique as the rubber is mounted onto the end of a peg, which is a little wider than a dowel. Most of the stamps are sold in sets with instructions and ink color options to aid in creating beautiful images. These sets are some that I've been accumulating and not using. But, once I started playing with them, I didn't want to stop. They are very addicting. So, be sure to go visit the website, see the samples and sign-up for the newsletter. You'll be glad you did.

This card was made using Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Very Vanilla SU! cardstock. I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Pale Plum card stock. I substituted the SU! colors for my inks. Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Old Olive, Mellow Moss and Encore Gold Metallic inks were used. I punched a 2 inch circle and layered it onto a piece of Perfect Plum card stock. Since the scallop punch is on back order, I found my scallop scissors and trimmed around the main image. Stickles gold glitter and organdy ribbon completed the card.

Thanks for looking! I'd love to hear about your creations.

Wow - you do good work with those scallop scissors! That is a great card and I know what you mean about those peg stamps being addicting - I have a ton!
