Sympathy Card

I'm still showing cards using my stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. This is a sympathy card using a sentiment from the SU! "Hope for Comfort" set and the Rubber Stamps Tapestry "Wisteria" set. My card stock colors are Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. The ink colors are Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel and Sage Shadow. I stamped the sentiment first and masked it with an oval shaped, punched from a Marvy set. Then, I stamped the flowers and vines randomly and sometimes 2-3 times before re-inking the stamp. When completed stamping, I sponged the stamped area and added Lilac Glitter Stickles. Very easy to do!

On a happier note than making sympathy cards, check out the free blog candy at Mona Lisa Moments. Be sure to visit and post a comment, as this is a great freebie. And Craft Critique has posted several reviews on cutters and trimmers. I've learned about several new items on the market that I may have to add onto my wish list. (Just kidding, honey!) They are looking for new reviews about punches, so join in if you have a chance.

I'm really psyched today as I have my first sale from my Etsy shop! I was just doubting on any success with that site and I sold 2 cards. So, I'll be busy adding to it for the next few days. Etsy is a great place for inspiration as everything is handmade. So, go over and look around and do your Christmas shopping early!
