Any Thomas Kinkaid lovers?

My friends know I enjoy Thomas Kinkaid's artwork, so imagine my excitement when Cornish Heritage Farms started to produce stamps using his images. I admit, it was a little intimidating at the thought of coloring in the entire image, but it can be done. I'm just not the one for skill level or patience, so I decided on alternative uses of this large image. I decided to use a Pumpkin Patch Specturm pad with fall colors for this card. Using only a few colors on the main image made the rest of card easy to create. I added SU! Old Olive CS for my card base and a layer of SU! Really Rust CS for another layer. I paper-pierced around the border of the card and added a SU! sentiment. Oval punches helped make my bookplate. And, after adding copper brads and cording, I had designed my first TK card, fitting for any male. So, this wasn't too hard after all. Share your TK artwork with me, as I am sure to purchase more of these beloved stamps.

BLOG CANDY-To be drawn tonight, so don't forget to spread the word.

Thanks for looking!

What a great idea, for those of us who are "coloring challenged!" I've shied away from these stamps because I know I would be disappointed in my attempts to make it look good. I certainly appreciate the idea. You come up with wonderful ideas.

Oh your card looks fabulous and you did a wonderful job coloring it. It looks like true artwork. . .yah know. . .like you drew it yourself.

How are you Leslie? Hope you are doing well.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm adding your blog site to my blog roll that I'm currently creating. I'm going through all my comments and adding everyone who ever commented my blog site. I still remember you had asked me to be one of your "artist of the week" and I really was honored to have been chosen by you!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!
