In the Spotlight Card CASED from Beate

Every now and then I see a card that has to be totally CASED (copy and steal everything). Sometimes, it may just be the colors, stamp sets or layout of the card that I want to case. Either way, I believe it is acceptable to do this, if the original designer of the artwork receives the credit due. This card was CASED from Beate Johns. Everyone knows Beate, don't they? If not, you need to visit SplitCoast Stampers and subscribe to her blog. She is truly a wonderful artist. I love this card! It uses the new SU! "In Colors" of Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Purely Pomegranate. The stamp set is one of the new Level 2 Hostess sets, In the Spotlight. I used scallop scissors to add the border on the bottom of the card. Paper-piercing was also added to the lower border. The ribbons and cardstock are also from SU-Purely Pomegranate Double-Stitch Ribbon and Black Gingham Check with Blue Bayou, Sky Blue and Purely Pomegranate CS. The only difference in my card is that I stamped the greeting on white CS, punched it out and mounted to a larger circle of Purely Pomegranate CS. Adhering it to the card with large pop-dots makes it stand out on the card. Thanks Beate for the inspiration!
