Father's Day Countdown-1
I'm celebrating Father's Day by posting a different scrapbook layout each day, of some wonderful Fathers that I know. The postings are not in any certain order, but just a few of my favorite layouts about the different men.
This layout is of my oldest brother, Chip AKA Virgil Douglass Moore, Jr. As you can read on the journaling, we are the closest in age, but live the farthest apart. One of his hobbies is raising bird dogs and this picture was taken and posted in a newsletter. I placed the newsletter describing his accomplishments in the envelope on the layout. Chip has 3 children and one of them is the only grand-daughter in our family. She is expecting the first grandchild, so he will become a grandparent in a short while. He has always worked hard to provide for his family and will be retiring shortly, so he can enjoy the new grandson.
Paper is from Artic Frog, Twill tape, brads and inks from SU!, rings from Junkitz, envelope from Bazzill, Monogram letter from Making Memories was inked and placed on top of a transparency made using my brother's name, journaling was computer generated.
Happy Father's Day, Chip!
