A new love...

I have another new love...Kitchen Sink Stamps. My friend Sue introduced me to these stamps during a recent visit. The stamp sets are acrylic and involve 3-4 stamping steps to get the beautiful detailed images. Being acrylic stamps, helps with placing the stamps in the correct place to produce the life-like images. The hardest part for me was deciding which ink colors to use, as the recommendation is to start with light color inks and gradually add darker color inks. After choosing several shades of SU! pink and green inks, I stamped the main images on SU! Vanilla card stock. Masking the focal image, I stamped the SU! French Script (retired) with Creamy Caramel ink and sponged the edges of the card stock. Using the SU! patterned paper, Bella Rose, made the coordination of colors easier for this card. I embossed one background layer with my Cuddlebug embossing folder. The pearl, hat pin and thin Twill ribbon were the final additions to this card. Be sure to visit the Kitchen Sink Stamps website as they have a monthly contest with the winner receiving free stamps!

Thanks for visiting-
Leslie

Gorgeous card Leslie! I love acrylic stamps and am in the process of unmounting all my SU ones. I love the wood mount but not the space it takes up.
