Introducing Dorothy..

Here’s another example of an unusual color combination-pink, blue and green. The main lampwork beads in this set are from a brooch that belonged to my great-grandmother. My mother had the piece of jewelry stored as it was falling apart and not suitable for wearing. After taking it apart and discarding the damaged pieces, I was left with 5 beautiful lampwork beads. The beads were in perfect condition and had the colors of pink, blue and green in them. I added Swarovski AB blue and clear crystal beads, pink Czech glass beads, metallic seed beads and a sterling silver chain to make a necklace and coordinating set of earrings. I had wonderful thoughts of my mother while designing this set and thus named it after her, Dorothy. Be sure to check out your mother’s jewelry box or visit an antique shop this week looking for vintage beads.

Thanks for visiting-
Leslie

And your mother loves her beautiful set. Since you designed the set and created it for me, it means that much more. I will wear it and always remember two special people in my life, my sweet daughter and my wonderful grandmother who help rear me.
Love you,
Mom
