Hang in there, Joseph!

This card was designed for my youngest son, Joseph. As you can probably tell in the picture, he is a college student, whom loves the outdoors. The picture was taken on an afternoon after he completed a 60 mile bike trip. I'm amazed that he can smile after exerting himself for 60 miles, but he loves bicycling. And, after serving in the Navy for 3 years, he is happy to make his own decisions about how to spend his time. I was blessed to have him here for Christmas and my birthday this year. I made this card with him in mind, as school has resumed and he has a tough quarter ahead of him. He has been going to college in Ohio for approximately 2 years, without taking any summer breaks.

The SU! hostess stamp set, Event Full, once again was perfect for this card and message. I stamped the image and sentiment on watercolor paper and used my SU! markers and Stickles glitter to accent it. After layering the stamped image on a scalloped oval, I adhered it to double-sided paper by SEI. I used eyelets in the four corners and added ribbon found in my stash.

Hang in there, son!

Much love-

MOM
