Using another Jumbo Wheel...

This is my week for using SU! Jumbo Wheels in designing cards. While taking one out to play with, I enjoyed using several others before cleaning up. This technique was recently shared in Stampin’ Success, a magazine for SU! demonstrators. The idea is to make your own template and roll the wheel over it. It leaves a neat image on the card front. I chose to use several sized circle punches to make my template. I lightly adhered the template to the card front using removable Hermafix. After rolling the SU! Happy Happy Birthday wheel over the template, several text filled circles remained on the card front. Using a piercing template, I created several areas of pierced circles. Various sized text-filled circles were punched, mounted on Real Red cardstock and adhered with dimensionals. The Khaki card front was mounted on a Real Red card front. Using the SU! Window punch, I made tabs and adhered them with Antique Gold brads. A SU! Ribbon slide was placed over red grosgrain ribbon. I plan on putting this card in my “manly birthday cards” stash.

You can see my template below the card. The only recommendation I have is to use thinner paper when creating your template, so the image is clear on the card front. Copier paper would be a good choice in making your template.

Stay warm-
Leslie
